Child sexual abuse is an epidemic that impacts far too many families and communities. ''Speak The Truth'' campaign is build to empower parents, caregivers, and communities to protect children from sexual abuse through education and online resources. Campaign works towards educating and empowering children to recognise and report any type of sexually inadequate behaviour and advances in their domestic and social environments. We make it safe to openly discuss sexual abuse through educational environment, community dialogue and social awareness.

End The Silence To Stop The Sexual Violence

The problem:

In a world where money dictates accessibility and judges’ credibility we can't stay silent anymore. Child sexual abuse is world’s greatest silent crime, where 5 words:’It is our little secret’’ , destroys innocents and grows hate. Children are too scared to speak about the sexual abuse they have suffered and they are made to believe it's their fault, that there will consequences if they speak out. That's just not true!

An abused child is more aware of danger, and more likely to stay silent as in their already altered mind silence does not attract further additional danger to themselves or their peers. This type of thinking need to be fixed.
Shocking 67% of abused children are abused by their own relatives and 33% of children are abused by someone that is not part of their family. About 1 in 3 children is sexually abused before the age of 18.

Solution:

Together parents, teachers, and community members can make a difference. As we make it safe to openly discuss this topic, we can lower the number of children abused every year. Raising awareness about children sexual abuse & exploitation in domestic, social and virtual environment is very important as that helps children to understand that silence is not the solution, and consequences aren't for them but for the abuser. With the right educational tools and programs we can protect and arm children with necessary knowledge, strength and guidance to disarm predatory behaviour.
